MBST® Training Curriculum
LEVEL I, II, III
Receiving this experiential training from Ratha has definitely filled my toolbox in working with clients coping with trauma. The incorporation of theoretical components into experiential practice really laid the groundwork in me being able to competently explain what I'm doing with my clients and why. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone starting somatic work with clients as Ratha is very hands on and supportive throughout and after the training to ensure the concepts are clear and your questions answered ~ Sharon, CCC
As the breath follows the body and mind, the body and mind follows the breath. We can relax the body and calm the mind just by changing our breath ~ Ratha Chek, Founder & Developer of MBST
I appreciated the thorough teaching model you used: Lecture, Demonstration, Practice! Practice forced me out of my comfort zone to give it a shot and experience it! The quick in the moment feedback from Ratha and Sam was great, I appreciated the team teaching approach, thanks so much :) ~ Courtney, Adler University
Unrestricted breath represents health, vitality, and our ability to flow with life's various circumstances.
Illness is thought to be the result of blocked energy. When our natural state of ease is blocked, we developed disease. The postures and breathing practices release blockages so that the vital energy can flow freely & healthy functioning can be restored ~ Chinese medicine
TOUCH originates from a place of feeling, not thinking. We use touch in MBST with presence, sensitivity & heart ❤
